Malaysia is a multi-cultural country, consisting of various ethnic and culture. One of the major culture groups is the Indian. Most of the Indians that came to Malaya were from the southern part of Indian. Together they brought along their religion and their culture.
Urumi Melam are a collection of Indian Folk musical Instruments played duration special occasions in the Indian culture. So the Indian in Kuala Lipis too did not miss the opportunity to display their skills in playing the instruments.
